May 2, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
This is an in-person training event for those wishing to become Water Action Volunteers stream monitors. It is here that you will meet other volunteers and get guided and hands-on practice of the baseline monitoring methods for stream temperature, transparency, dissolved oxygen, biotic index, flow and habitat. Equipment will be provided for the training and available for loan so that attendees will leave the training ready to monitor for the 2020 season. Dress for the weather and bring hip boots or waders if you have them.
If you haven’t already completed the Online Introduction to WAV Baseline Monitoring please do so before registering for an in-person training.
