This aquatic invasive species training is hosted by Langlade County and the FLOW AIS Program.
Time: 9:30 am
Are you interested in protecting our rivers from aquatic invasive species? Join Project RED (Riverine Early Detectors) on June 7. Volunteers like you are invaluable for early detection of aquatic invasive species.
Attend a free aquatic invasive species detector training learn how to:
- Identify aquatic invasive species important to southeastern Wisconsin
- Monitor for aquatic invasive species
- Collect and report findings
What to bring: a kayak or canoe, life vest, paddle, water bottle, sun glasses, sun screen
How to dress: clothes for being outside in the sun (hat, long sleeves, shorts or pants), sandals/waterproof boots/waders if planning on wadding in the river (optional)
