Online Introduction to WAV Baseline Monitoring (1-2 hours)
Completing the free Online Introduction to WAV Baseline Monitoring is your first step toward joining our dedicated volunteer network! You can complete this online course any time of the year, and then you will be ready to sign up for an in-person field training at a stream site in spring.
Baseline monitoring field trainings are typically held mid-April through early June. Participants become active volunteer stream monitors immediately following the field training.
Winter Water Talks
Winter Water Talks is a series of free online webinars hosted by the Water Action Volunteers and the Citizen Lake Monitoring Network. Occurring once a month from Nov – Feb, this series focuses on a variety of lake & stream topics, including water quality, watershed health, aquatic animals & plants, among others.
